Te Ohu Kaimoana Annual Plan 2023

Te Ohu Kai Moana Trustee Limited (inclusive of Takutai Trust) Annual Plan of activities against Rima Tau Rautaki, for the 1 October 2022 - 30 September 2023 financial year.

The six key strategic priorities identified for 2023 were:

1. Development of Te Hā o Tangaroa Framework for oceans and fisheries led by mātauranga Māori
2. Develop a meaningful engagement and relationship management programme with Mandated Iwi Organisations and Asset Holding Companies
3. Review our role in customary fishing and develop how to better support iwi aspirations
4. Develop a shared model of working with Moana New Zealand
5. Stocktake of iwi and Māori fisheries research
6. 30 years of Deed of Settlement celebration event
