Invitation to Hui-ā-iwi, hosted by Te Ohu Kaimoana - Tuesday 24 November 2026

Te Ohu Kaimoana invites you to join us for a hui-ā-iwi during the upcoming National Iwi Chairs Forum from 5:00pm to 7:30pm Tuesday 24 November 2026 at the Cable Room, Harbourside Function Centre, 4 Taranaki Street, Wellington.

The hui will focus on the recent changes enacted through the implementation of the Māori Fisheries Amendment Act 2024 and what those changes mean for iwi; as well as presenting the organisation’s new three-year strategic plan to iwi for discussion and feedback.

Following the presentation, we invite you to stay for drinks and canapés.

Please note: This event is open to representatives of Mandated and Recognised Iwi Organisations, Asset Holding Companies, Representative Māori Organisations (in accordance with the Māori Fisheries Act 2004), Chairs and Delegates of the National Iwi Chairs Forum, and directors and staff of Te Kāhui o Te Ohu Kai Moana (Te Ohu Kai Moana Group).
