Over the course of 2024 we’ve been working with Wellington based digital agency Octave to produce a new website for Te Ohu Kaimoana.
We wish to sincerely thank our iwi working group for their direction, ideas and input into the creation of the site. That advice was integral in shaping the structure, content, as well as the over all look and feel of the site.
One important change is that our new address is: teohukaimoana.nz, replacing the former teohu.maori.nz. Our name was gifted to us by the late Dame Miraka (Mira) Szászy DBE JP and we think it’s important we honour our name in the way that it was intended to be used – in full.
If you had any links to documents or pages saved to our old site, you will be automatically redirected to our new site, where those same resources should still be available.Kei te mihi ki a koutou te whānau @Octave.
A big thank you to Chloe Johnston, Rebecca Hollis, Logan Hodgson, Celeste McNamara, Vincent Tran and Jeffry Ghazally for being such great partners and for all of your work (and patience 🙏🏽) this year. We invite you to visit our new site and hope you will find navigating it an easy and intuitive experience: www.teohukaimoana.nz
