Next week AK Research will be in touch with representatives from Mandated and Recognised Iwi Organisations, Asset Holding Companies, Representative Māori Organisations and Te Kāwai Taumata directly with an invitation to partake in our annual iwi engagement survey. As many of you will be familiar, we undertake an independent survey each year so we can check in with you to see how we are tracking from a performance perspective; and also to see where you think we need to be focusing our resources so we can provide the best return on investment for you.
This independent survey provides an opportunity for you to share your whakaaro anonymously on a set of measures that we track each year. Some of the questions and measures remain the same each year so we can assess how we are progressing annually against a baseline, but there are also a number of new questions that will directly affect and inform the direction in which our work takes shape.
Transparency and accountability are of high importance to us, so each time we carry out this survey we publish the findings for you to read in our annual report. You can check out the findings from last year’s iwi engagement survey on pages 34 – 43 of our annual report.
Next steps...
As mentioned above, AK Research will send you an individual link next week to participate in this year's survey online, which will take around 10-12 minutes to complete.
Your response will remain confidential, and findings are reported in a way that ensures individual comments are anonymous. Your contact details will be supplied to AK Research for use with this kaupapa only, and they will not be used, passed on, or sold by the company for any other purpose.
The survey will be open for responses until Friday 12 September.
Complete the survey and go into the draw to win
As a koha to thank you for participating, each completed survey goes into the draw to win one of four $200 Prezzy Cards.
Prizes will be drawn on in the week of 15 September and winners will be contacted directly.
